COACHING WITH IMAGES

Working with images in coaching can open up paths for us that would otherwise remain hidden. Images in various forms can help shed light on the challenges you are facing and on your personal solutions to them.

Both by actively creating images and by responding to given images – and even by working with imagination – you can gain meaningful insights into what is preoccupying you.

In a coaching session, whether in person at the studio in Berlin or online, you enter a space that is all yours and receive my full attention.

When can coaching with images be helpful?

At times in life we all face situations, in which we are not sure how to proceed. You may need to figure out a decision you have to take, or seek a solution for a certain issue; or maybe you wish to find a new path, seeking professional or personal (re)orientation and more fulfilment in life.

Coaching with images can help you look deeper into what is burdening you and find your own personal solutions for it.

You can get to know yourself better and become more familiar with different parts of yourself, so that you can find the places in you that hinder, and those that let you grow.

If you are dealing with chronic states, coaching with images can help you connect with your emotions beyond words and identify the links to your symptoms. It can also support you as your recovery progresses in beginning to build up your life again.

How can coaching with images be helpful?

The symbolic nature of an image can allow you to gently discover and express your true needs and feelings that are held beneath the surface. It can also help you become aware of different perspectives and of your own personal meanings and values.

Images can reflect back your inner strengths as well as any challenges you face, so that you can discover, observe and begin transforming what you need in order to make decisions and live in more alignment with yourself and your needs.

Using images in the supporting and encouraging coaching environment can help you see things you feel unable to put into words. They can be a point of departure for working on the topics you are dealing with as we reflect together on what they mean to you.

And if you choose to create images yourself during or in between sessions, you will be able to benefit from the creative act, which itself can bring release and set processes and energies in motion.

What does a coaching with images session look like?

We will use the first 1-2 sessions to define the topic or topics you would like to focus on in the course of our sessions. This will be done, depending on your individual preferences, either with the use of images or only verbally.

In our further sessions, we will combine images with reflection on the topic(s) of our coaching. You will be able to choose if and when you prefer to create images yourself, for example by photographing, drawing, painting, making collages or sculpting, and/or use given images or imagination. You may also receive some exercises or explorations to do in between sessions.

Session duration, frequency & costs

Coaching with images usually takes place in individual sessions.

After a free introductory call on the phone or online:

60 minute sessions: 75€
90 minute sessions: 110€

The number of sessions depends on the topic(s) we will work on. We will decide together what is right for you.

The frequency of the sessions is decided upon individually as well. 1-2 times a month is generally recommended, though this can vary.
